Overview
The Wingback Bed is an upholstered bed with a tall headboard divided by vertical seam lines into narrow channels, curving forward at the top corners into two wings that frame the pillows. Short block legs support the base at each corner, and the slatted deck lifts on gas struts from the foot end.
Wing-Curved Corners
The top corners of the headboard curve forward rather than running square to the wall, wrapping around slightly at each side of the panel. The curve frames the pillows without rising into a full wing chair-style back.
Vertical Channel Seams
Seam lines run the full height of the headboard, dividing its face into a series of narrow vertical channels rather than one flat panel. The channels catch light differently along their length, giving the headboard a ribbed surface.
Gas-Lift Storage
Curved timber slats sit on a black steel frame that lifts on gas struts from the foot end, holding the deck open at an angle. The cavity underneath is lined along its base and closes flat when lowered.
