Overview
The Channel-Tufted Upholstered Bed has a tall headboard divided into a series of vertical padded channels that run from top to bottom, set above a fully upholstered base with no exposed frame or legs. Beneath the mattress deck, a black steel lifting frame and gas struts raise the slats to open a storage cavity below.
Vertical Channels
The headboard is stitched into narrow vertical channels that run the full height of the panel, each padded into a rounded ridge. The channels catch the light differently along their length, giving the flat panel a subtle ribbed texture.
Gas-Lift Storage
A black steel frame is fixed beneath the slatted deck, with gas struts on each side that lift it and hold it open. The whole sleeping deck rises as one piece, clearing the base for storage underneath.
Upholstered Base
The base runs in the same fabric as the headboard, wrapped down to the floor with no legs or trim breaking the line. The low, continuous shape keeps the bed sitting close to the ground.
