Overview
The Curved Lounge Armchair is a continuous panel of upholstery that curves from a tall rounded back down into the seat and forward into a low block at the floor. There are no separate legs or arms; the whole shape is one unbroken ribbon of padded fabric, with a flat side panel meeting the floor.
Continuous Ribbon Form
The chair is shaped from one panel of upholstery that bends from the back, across the seat and into a front block, with no seam breaking the curve. This gives the chair one flowing line instead of a separate back and seat.
Floor-Level Plinth
The front of the curve ends in a low, flat-topped block that sits on the floor and acts as the chair's front support. It keeps the seat close to the ground and gives the chair a stable footing.
Flat Side Panel
At the back, the curve straightens into a flat upright panel that reaches the floor on its own edge. This panel closes the side of the chair and carries the backrest down to the ground.
