Overview
The Modern Upholstered Armchair is built as one curved, barrel-shaped shell that wraps continuously from arm to back with no seam at the corner. A loose seat cushion sits inside the shell, its edge visible where it meets the front rail, and four straight, round wooden legs stand beneath the base at each corner.
Barrel Wrap Shell
Back and arms are formed from a single curved wall of fabric, rounding from one side to the other without a break at the corner. The shell reads as one continuous curve rather than three joined panels.
Loose Fitted Cushion
A separate seat cushion sits inside the shell rather than being built into the frame, with a seam visible where its front edge meets the rail. It gives the seat a softer surface set apart from the firmer wrap around it.
Straight Round Legs
Four plain, round wooden legs stand straight down from the base, set slightly in from the outer edge. They lift the chair clear of the floor while keeping the profile simple, with no taper or carving.
