Overview
The Modern Tufted Velvet Armchair pairs a grid-tufted back and seat with a low, curved arm that scoops down from the backrest in one continuous line rather than meeting it at a joint. The top edge of the back slopes gently to one side, and four slim, tapered wooden legs splay outward beneath the seat.
Grid-Tufted Panel
Stitched lines divide the back and seat into small rectangular blocks, set out in even rows across both surfaces. The tufting continues from backrest to seat without a break, reading as one worked panel rather than two.
Scooped Curved Arm
The arm drops low from the top of the back and curves forward in a single sweeping line, with no seam marking where back ends and arm begins. This gives the side profile one flowing edge, not a squared corner.
Splayed Wood Legs
Four slim, tapered wooden legs angle outward from each corner of the seat, narrowing toward the floor. They lift the chair clear of the ground and leave the base open underneath, rather than closed in with a skirt.
