Overview
The Panel Headboard Bed is built around a tall upholstered headboard with curved top corners and a run of horizontal stitched channels across its face. It stands on short block legs and continues into a plain upholstered base, and the whole slatted deck lifts on a pair of gas struts from the head end.
Channel-Stitched Headboard
Even horizontal channels are stitched across the full width of the headboard, from the base of the panel to its curved top edge. The bands run the same distance apart throughout, giving the panel a ribbed, even texture.
Curved Top Corners
The top two corners of the headboard are rounded off rather than left square, softening the line where the panel meets the wall behind it. The curve is small and sits above the outermost channel band only.
Gas-Lift Storage
A pair of gas struts is fixed under the slatted deck at the head end, letting the whole deck swing upward as one piece. This opens a single storage cavity that runs the full length and width of the base.
