Overview
The Channel Tufted Curved Sofa is wrapped in vertical channels that run over the back, around the arms and across the seat front, following the curve of the frame throughout. The whole shell is upholstered down to a low plinth base with no legs showing, which keeps the sofa sitting close to the floor and reading as one piece.
Channel-Tufted Shell
The channels are stitched at even spacing and bend with the frame, so the ribbing stays continuous where the back meets the arms instead of breaking at a seam.
Curved Plan
The sofa is shaped in plan as well as in profile, wrapping slightly around whoever is sitting on it and reading as a single form from the front.
Low Plinth Base
The upholstery continues to the floor on a plinth, with no legs visible. It gives the sofa a heavier, grounded stance and leaves no gap underneath.
