Overview
The Rubber Wood Armchair has an exposed solid wood frame with angled legs joined by a diagonal stretcher on each side. A rounded wood armrest curves down from the top rail to meet the front leg. A flat back cushion and a thick loose seat cushion sit inside the frame, with a separate scatter cushion resting against one arm.
Exposed Wood Frame
The frame is made from solid wood left uncovered, with angled front and back legs joined by a diagonal stretcher. The open frame is visible under and beside the cushions instead of being hidden by upholstery.
Curved Wood Armrest
Each armrest is a curved length of wood that rises from the seat rail and rolls over before dropping to meet the front leg. The curve leaves a gap between the armrest and the seat cushion below it.
Loose Seat Cushion
A thick, loose cushion rests on exposed wood slats that run across the seat base. The cushion sits above the frame rather than being fixed to it, alongside a flat back cushion and a separate scatter cushion.
