Overview
The Rocking Armchair has a round, bowl-shaped seat made from a thick tufted cushion that sits inside a black wire frame. The wire spokes curve up from a round base to cradle the cushion on all sides. The frame stands on two curved wood rockers joined by a straight cross bar near the floor.
Tufted Bowl Cushion
The cushion is pulled into a grid of soft tufts that puff up between each stitch line, filling the full round shape of the seat. The tufting keeps the thick padding in place across the deep curve of the bowl.
Wire Basket Frame
Thin black metal spokes curve up from a round base and fan outward to form an open basket shape under the cushion. The spokes hold the cushion's round form while leaving the frame visible around the sides.
Curved Wood Rockers
Two curved wood rails run along the floor beneath the frame, joined by a straight metal cross bar near their centre. The curve of the rails lets the whole chair rock forward and back.
