Overview
The Accent Chair is a sculptural bouclé chair built from one continuous curved band that forms the back, both sides and two outer legs, with open rectangular gaps where the band lifts clear of the seat. A shorter third leg sits centred between the outer two, and the seat cushion sits low between the curved sides.
Continuous Curved Frame
The back and arms are shaped from a single band of upholstery that curves from one side, across the back, and down to the floor on the other. The band keeps the same thickness along its entire length.
Open-Gap Base
Rectangular gaps separate the seat from the curved band on both sides, so the frame appears to float above the thick front legs. Light passes through the gaps beneath the armrests on either side of the seat.
Bouclé Texture
The looped bouclé surface covers the band, the legs and the seat in one even texture with no piping or seams breaking the shape. The texture reads the same from every side of the chair.
