Overview
The Upholstered Armchair is built from thick, fully padded panels with no exposed frame. A flat rectangular back panel sits between two rounded slab arms that curve outward and run straight down to the floor. A curved seat cushion fills the space between the arms, with a loose bolster cushion set against the back.
Slab Arm Panels
The arms are thick, rounded panels of padding that curve outward from the back and continue straight down to the floor, acting as the chair's legs. There is no visible frame; the upholstery itself forms the full support on each side.
Flat Back Panel
The backrest is a single flat, rectangular panel of padding set upright between the two arms. Its plain, square-edged shape contrasts with the rounded curve of the arms on either side of it.
Loose Bolster Cushion
A separate cylindrical bolster cushion rests against the back panel, sitting on top of the seat rather than being fixed in place. It can be moved along the seat or left leaning in the corner formed by the arm.
